Congo African greys are CITES Appendix I. Captive-bred birds can be sold within the United States; the Wild Bird Conservation Act bars importing greys as pets, so this bird is sold only to buyers in the US.
On the video call and at handover, compare the ring number on the paperwork with the ring on the bird’s leg. They must match.
